Whatโ€™s a typical day as Production Operator? Youโ€™ll be:
  • Reading and following manufacturing order instructions to gather, measure, weigh, and document ingredients
  • Loading ingredients (up to 50 lbs.) into mixers, blending as specified, and transferring mixed batches to the next process
  • Operating extrusion equipment to process mixing batches and ensure the finished product meets customer specifications
  • Managing and transferring finished products from extrusion and drying processes using drums, carts, or trays
  • Polishing finished products using panning processes and adding liquid ingredients manually or via automation
