Operations Manager – World Class Manufacturing
Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin
$125,000 – $175,000 Base + Annual Bonus + Relocation + Full Benefits

A global manufacturer is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing operation in the Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin area.

The ideal candidate will come from a world-class manufacturing environment within packaging, food containers, paper converting, thermoforming, consumer packaging, or automotive manufacturing.

This role is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader with deep experience in Lean manufacturing, TPM, continuous improvement, safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Industries highly preferred:
• Food manufacturing
• Food packaging / containers
• Automotive manufacturing
• High-speed industrial manufacturing

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience managing complex manufacturing operations while driving Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas
• Drive Lean manufacturing, TPM, CI, waste reduction, and productivity improvements
• Manage labor, budgeting, efficiencies, and operational performance
• Ensure safety, quality, GMP, ISO, and environmental compliance standards are maintained
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, HR, Finance, and Planning
• Develop and mentor high-performing manufacturing teams
• Improve workflow optimization, manufacturing standards, and operational KPIs
• Lead a culture focused on accountability, engagemement, and world-class execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required
• Strong manufacturing leadership experience in a high-volume production environment
• Experience in packaging, print, food manufacturing, automotive, or electromechanical manufacturing preferred
• Lean Manufacturing expertise required
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt highly preferred
• Strong financial and operational acumen
• Proven ability to lead large teams and drive measurable operational improvements
