This role manages one or more production areasin a Business Unit(s)to ensure thatsafety, quality,volume, cost,andwastestandards are achieved and follows overall production schedules to manage staffing andestablishdaily and shift production goals. It also monitors shift production metrics toidentifyand resolve issues and implement process improvements and coordinates maintenance, turnarounds, and downtime for efficiency and speed.It will also overseemanufacturingfinancial information andbudgets, evaluatingresources, management of supply chain and inventory, and coordinate of quality and supplies.

Responsibilities

  • Manages one or more production areas in a Business Unit(s) to ensure that safety, quality, volume, cost, and waste standards are achieved

  • Develops andmonitorsKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieveoptimalproductivity and cost

  • Creates, recommends,implementsand adjustsdepartment annual operating plan

  • Coordinateswith production,purchasing, and inventory todeterminecost of inventory, warehousing, replenishment time, and costs

  • Evaluates products and processes for improvementand implements continuous improvement initiatives when applicable

  • Manages the Quality Management System for the Business Unitin accordance withthe company's ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications
