NOW HIRING: Industrial Maintenance Manager - Manufacturing (PLCs & Automation)
Custom Filters Direct - Bloomsburg, PA | 1st Shift

Custom Filters Direct is a rapidly growing manufacturer of custom HVAC air filters, and we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department during an exciting period of growth and automation.
This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with strong industrial maintenance experience who enjoys developing teams, implementing preventative maintenance programs, improving equipment reliability, and supporting automated manufacturing operations.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance department, including supervising maintenance leadership and technicians.
  • Build, implement, and continuously improve preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Establish maintenance procedures, documentation, equipment history, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and support automated manufacturing equipment, including Jewett machines, pleaters, conveyors, and production machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley experience preferred), electrical systems, VFDs, motors, sensors, relays, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
  • Analyze equipment failures and perform root cause analysis to reduce downtime.
  • Partner with Production leadership to maximize equipment uptime and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Plan and prioritize maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance scheduling, vendors, and outside contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and maintenance best practices.
  • Develop a proactive maintenance culture focused on reliability, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required
  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance & leadership experience in a manufacturing environment including managing maintenance teams or supervisors.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled automated equipment (Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Proven success implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Experience troubleshooting:
    • Electrical systems
    • PLCs & automation
    • VFDs
    • Hydraulics & pneumatics
    • Mechanical systems
    • Motors, sensors, relays, and conveyors
  • Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or CMMS experience.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Schedule
1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-3:30 PM (Overtime may be required at times based on production needs)
