Position Objective: 

Provides services and support in multiple functional areas of Human Resources. Responsibility for Time and Attendance Administration, employee relations activities, recruitment, and record retention. May support operating units by implementing Human Resources programs and solving performance problems.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and administration of HR programs in areas such as payroll, recruiting and staffing,  performance management, employee training and development, compensation, benefits, records management, safety and health, succession planning, and compliance.
  • Utilizes Human Resources and Timekeeping software for time and attendance administration, and closes period ending payroll in coordination with the Corporate Payroll department
  • Make enhancements and facilitate meetings for training, onboarding, and exit interviews, and explain relevant compensation/benefit programs to new hires or existing employees.
  • Oversee supervisor and employee performance through problem identification and clarification, policy interpretation, solution evaluation and implementation, and coaching and counseling.
  • Act as the primary contact for employees and managers to address HR issues and concerns while fostering good working relationships and credibility.
  • Coordinate employee development plans and performance management.
  • Manage HRIS and reporting metrics
  • Assist with Recruitment, selection and on-boarding of new employees
  • Ensure timely and accurate  submission of HR information to corporate HR systems, including new hires,  transfers, promotions, and terminations.

Requirements

 Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, etc., preferred; candidates must have hands-on operations experience supporting HR or business functions.
  2. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources role, with manufacturing background preferred;
  3. Knowledge of Human Resources law, including OSHA, Payroll, EEO, AA and Benefits;
  4. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred;
  5. Understanding of employment law;
  6. Excellent written and oral  communication skills;
  7. Requires knowledge of compensation and benefits programs;
  8. Ability to work with accuracy and  efficiency to maintain employee records.
