Mechanic โ€“ Lead Maintenance and Repair for Agricultural and Specialized Site Equipment

Job Overview

  • Project Scope: Landscaping / Hardscaping (Residential, Commercial, Government, or Federal).

The Opportunity You will take ownership of a high-value fleet, ensuring our specialized agricultural and construction machinery remains mission-ready for critical environmental projects. How You Will Make an Impact

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues across a fleet of agricultural and light-duty construction equipment.

  • Execute rigorous preventative maintenance schedules to maximize the lifespan and safety of specialized erosion control machinery.

  • Overhaul critical components and systems to prevent field breakdowns during high-stakes government and commercial builds.

  • Maintain detailed service records and inventory logs to track parts usage and equipment health across all company assets.

  • Collaborate with field operations to provide rapid mechanical support and troubleshooting for on-site equipment failures.

  • Support erosion control operations by assisting with equipment modifications and other duties as assigned to meet project goals.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Knowledge in mechanical repair with a specific emphasis on agricultural and light-duty construction equipment.

  • Strong proficiency in troubleshooting diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and advanced electrical diagnostics.

  • Valid Driver's License and the ability to travel to project sites for emergency field repairs.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a shop environment effectively.

  • Physical stamina to handle heavy components and work in various outdoor and shop conditions.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • 1+ year of previous experience

  • Possession of a Commercial Driverโ€™s License (CDL) for transporting equipment or mobile service units.

  • Previous experience maintaining specialized erosion control equipment such as hydro-mulchers or wattle machines.

  • Formal vocational training or manufacturer-specific certifications for major agricultural or construction brands.
