Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst to support Oklahoma City Operations in Oklahoma City, OK!

TheExperienced Manufacturing Operations Analystwill assist with metrics, data and assessments of current Operations activities across the various AMM production programs supported by Oklahoma City. The candidate will conduct assessments of production processes and provide feedback to develop strategies, plans and metrics which align production facilities with the Boeing Production System (BPS). The candidate should have a good understanding of Production process so as to analyze, interpret and provide feedback on production schedules, processes and day to day operations. Must be able to work with and communicate effectively with portfolio and production facility leadership as needed to implement requirements. To be successful in this position, the selected candidate must be able to work under general supervision and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, have a working knowledge of the U.S. Government customer, and have maintain positive relationships internally and externally.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collects, organizes and provides data to maintain program status and customer commitments
  • Works with Operations management and peers to ensure accurate information is flowed to portfolio leaders on report Operational issues in a timely manner
  • Communicates on a regular basis with Operations Leadership and peers
  • Participates in meetings and associated events to provide insight on operational requirements progress to plan
  • Supports communication and coordination between modification sites/suppliers and the
  • Program for regular deliverables, briefings, and meetings as required
  • Executes collection and analysis of production data and communicates status
  • Develops metrics and reports on contractor performance in support of portfolio and program PMMs
  • Special Projects and ad-hoc tasks assigned as required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • Experience in a military or commercial aircraft environment
  • Experience working with large aircraft modification and/or maintenance
  • Experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools
  • 3+ years' experience with airplane programs products and processes
