Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for you to join our team as a Manufacturing Analyst supporting the BWI Commodities cells under the Production & Material Control (P&MC) organization based out of Baltimore, MD.
What You'll Get to Do:
  • Serve as a Manufacturing Analyst for P&MC organization, coordinating the production planning function across multiple shifts within the Commodities cells
  • Drive the timely flow of product through the Commodities cells to support internal and external customer delivery requirements
  • Interface between various support & management functions within P&MC, Manufacturing & Program Operations, Global Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Engineering, and Quality organizations
  • Consolidate, analyze, and organize production data to provide effective and efficient status of hardware through manufacturing processes, including kit conversions, manufacturing processes, and final delivery of hardware to internal and/or external customers
  • Track and report P&MC Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including On Time to Release (OTTR), Last Touch (LT), Out of Cycle (OOC), On Time to Finish (OTTF), etc
  • Lead execution to drive down Aging Orders, Overdue hours, 'Confirmed not Delivered' orders, floor stock inventory control, Missing in Action (MIA), Not in Location (NIL) orders, and resolving material shortages

The successful candidate will have strong communication, organizational and analytical skills with a history of problem resolution as well as process improvement efforts. The candidate will have experience with leadership in cross-functional teams and effective communication with internal and external customers.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP/planning, Production Control, Supply Chain or similar; Master's degree and relevant experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP/planning, Production Control, Supply Chain or similar; 6 years of relevant experience in Manufacturing, Materials, MRP/planning, Production Control, Supply Chain or similar may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
  • Experience and ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (such as SAP/ERP or other related system)
  • Experience working in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel - pivot tables, PowerPoint) & Tableau
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics or other closely related areas
  • Advanced User for MS Office 365 and SAP
  • SQL, Coding (C++), Python software experience
  • Experience with Scheduling tools (DPS)
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
