About the Role

The Manufacturing Equipment & Process Engineer is responsible for strategic implementation of Equipment and system(s) to enable execution of scale manufacturing of Data Center Solutions products for hyperscale customers (including enabling product design-for-quality/design-for-manufacturing, scale manufacturing monitor and tracking and ergonomic systems for all facilities producing hyperscale products).

What You’ll Do

  • Active implementation of Equipment to manufacture datacenter products at scale in a safe, high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused manner.
  • Active implementation of processes to manufacture datacenter products, at scale, in a safe, high-quality, efficient, and customer-focused manner.
  • Serve as the POC for the development of the Manufacturing systems and processes, as assigned, that can be executed in any facility and accelerate the start-up of new facilities
  • Collaborate with the Tate commercial team and hyperscale customers to improve Tate’s offerings and provide additional value to drive innovation in the datacenter market
  • Participate in the development of the operations functions using a data-based approach, providing Engineered systems for large scale production in a safe and high-quality manner.
  • Participate in the aggressive systems development to minimize manufacturing overheads to ensure best in class see through cost base.
  • Help the Advanced Manufacturing Team to drive Step-Change and Continuous Improvement programs to drive the organization's competitive position and the profitability of operations.
  • Maintains awareness of individual contribution to and impact of the quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; reports all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.

What You’ll Bring

  • BA/BS in industrial, mechanical, or business administration, or a 4-year technical degree in related discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in a process-oriented operation and/or related industry.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook
  • Must possess valid driver license.
  • High level of interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
