Job description

Lake Country Dairy, a division of Schuman Cheese, is an award winning producer of Italian and Alpine style cheeses. We are proud to be a part of Wisconsin's strong tradition of cheese making and we produce some of the best cheese in the world. (Seriously, it's soooo good!)
We are now hiring for a Production Supervisorto join our team at our Turtle Lake, WI plant. A successful person in this role will embrace the challenges that food and cheese manufacturing presents. This position is not only about leading people, it's about how we handle and care for the cheese to meet our specifications and quality standards.
Shift Schedule: 4P-4A on a 2-2-3 rotation
Core Job Duties:
  • Lead a team of people to complete the processes and functions needed within your assigned area
  • Set daily goals and objectives and drive safety, quality and efficiency initiatives
  • Ensure quality and production standards are met
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to best manage the work and team
  • Perform managerial functions (reviews, accident & incident reporting & follow up, employee coaching & disciplinary action, safety, etc.)
  • Responsible for daily paperwork and ensuring proper record keeping of cheese flow and activities
  • Solve problems, address issues, drive accountability and be a motivator for your team
