The Manufacturing Engineer will provide technical support and engineering expertise to improve manufacturing operations, equipment performance, and production efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with operations, maintenance, and production teams to develop manufacturing solutions, support continuous improvement initiatives, and drive the production of high-quality products. Description The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for: Design, develop, and implement manufacturing equipment, tooling, and process improvements. Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process-related issues while partnering with production and maintenance teams to resolve problems. Support capital equipment projects, including vendor identification, equipment selection, purchasing justification, and implementation. Create and maintain standardized work instructions, operating procedures, and production standards. Coordinate tooling and fixturing requirements, repairs, and priorities with internal teams. Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation. Analyze production performance and recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency and product quality. Assist with engineering documentation, training programs, and implementation of best practices. Support safety initiatives and help identify opportunities to improve workplace safety and operational effectiveness.
