This role supports the Maintenance Department Leader through assisting to lead the team of mechanics, overseeing mid-size capital projects, and ensuring smooth operations of preventative maintenance programing.</div><div class="ql-align-justify"><br></div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Key Job Responsibilities:</strong></div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Execute the Bakery’s preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure reliable operational performance of bakery equipment and processes.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Plan, organize, direct, and control the work performed by Mechanics utilizing the plant’s PM program.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Provide coverage in the absence of the Maintenance Department Leader and technical support for controls, electrical, and mechanical systems and equipment.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Manage and improve all components and software required to efficiently operate a primarily automated manufacturing line.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Monitor Maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and PM system reports, using these reports to initiate remedial actions to improve maintenance performance.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications and standards, ensure compliance with governmental requirements (OSHA, EPA, FDA), and verify completion of maintenance procedures in line with company policies.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Requisition tools, equipment, and supplies necessary for maintenance activities.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Ensure maintenance personnel are trained on Lock-Out / Tag-Out, Confined Space, Hazard Material Handling, and Personal Protective Equipment.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Perform tasks that require standing for long periods, climbing, reaching above shoulders, walking, lifting, grasping, kneeling, bending, and twisting. This role requires knowledge of safety and environmental-related concepts, including compliance with State, Federal, and Local regulations. As a member of the bakery leadership team, this role will also be responsible for providing sound advice to executive leadership on all related topics.</div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong> </strong></div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Education and Work History:</strong></div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        High School diploma or equivalent.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Technical or BA degree in a related field or AIB Maintenance Correspondence Course a plus.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Minimum 3-5 years’ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.</div><div class="ql-align-justify">·        Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills, with a strong PLC knowledge base being a plus.
