Summary
Directs and coordinates manufacturing activities by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors or staff. Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees. Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.

Managing production schedules for customer delivery requirements and utilize the company's productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
Check production output according to specifications.
Submit reports on performance and progress.
Coordinates and monitors manufacturing projects from initiation through delivery.
Identifies and allocates project resources.
Serves as liaison between manufacturing and non-manufacturing departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met.
Acts on order releases action and exception messages from the company system


Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, the purchasing department and supervisors on material status and production planning issues.
Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Resolves issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.
Monitors and maintains department productivity and budgets.
Manages the work efforts of supervisors/individual contributors.
Displays broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills.
