Position Responsibilities
  • Leadership & Management: Oversee and guide a talented team engaged in multiple manufacturing disciplines, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive business plans, policies, and procedures while crafting innovative organizational and technical strategies
  • Resource Acquisition & Technical Oversight: Secure necessary resources, manage supplier relationships, and lead initiatives for continuous process improvement
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports to ensure alignment and success
  • Technical Approval & Oversight: Provide expert oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Employee Development: Inspire, mentor, and motivate employees, driving their professional growth and enhancing team performance
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in an aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing environment
  • 1+ years of experience with continuous process improvement initiatives
  • 1+ years of experience with developing and documenting processes
  • Willing to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temporary manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership."
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • Demonstrated adaptability when faced with new challenges
  • Ability to motivate, inspire, and forge connections when under pressure
  • Passion for celebrating successes and ability to effect "small wins" for the team

Pay & Benefits

Summary Pay Range: $126,000 - $154,000
