NOW HIRING: Millerbernd Manufacturing is hiring an Associate Account Manager to join our Transportation & Infrastructure (T&I) team! The Associate Account Manager is responsible for supporting the Sales Team in a best-in-class customer experience organization. Responsible for supporting day-to-day commercial interactions, pricing, purchase order validation and processing, and order development. Shares co-responsibility with Account Managers and Regional Sales Managers for Millerbernd’s overall success in the assigned territories.

This is an onsite opportunity in Winsted, MN.

$27.00 - $32.00/hour (Non-Exempt role)

Key Roles and Responsibilities as an Associate Account Manager:

  • Support quotation generation using company pricing strategies
  • Support all commercial order acceptance and development activities
  • Escalate issues for win-win resolution internally
  • Support standard office administrative duties

As an Associate Account Manager, you will:

  • Support sustained sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers through all levels of the organization
  • Generate pricing schedules and quotations to existing sales channels in alignment with profitability goals
  • Convert quotations to sales bookings and manage development of orders
  • Provide best-in-class customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Respond timely to all customer inquiries via phone, email, and virtual meetings
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making
  • Participate in team meetings to understand market demands and industry standards
  • Provide the Voice of Customer through market feedback to the organization
  • Utilize CRM functionality and capabilities to maximize market intel capture

Role Qualifications as an Associate Account Manager:

  • Preferred candidates will have an associate or bachelor’s degree in general business, marketing, or a technical field
  • Two (2) or more years of experience with business to consumer or business to business sales or marketing, or other combinations of formal training and experience may be considered.
  • Confident, driven, and dynamic
  • Motivated self-starter and derives energy from being productive
  • Possesses a problem solving and winning attitude
  • Basic skills in math, including fractions, decimals, and margin calculations
  • Ability to handle multiple internal demands simultaneously
  • Effective and appropriate written and oral communication skills
  • Adaptable to changing work priorities, and ability to change priorities without prior notification
  • Collaborative approach with others as part of a high-performance team
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to resolve tense situations with a win-win outcome

Work Environment (office):

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit/stand; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk short distances. On occasion, the employee may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. While on the production floor, all employees are required to wear company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE).
