Join a Team That Builds Something Real - Production Machine Operator (Level I)

If you want a handson manufacturing career, clear training paths, and real opportunities to advance, PABCO Tacoma is the place. We make roofing products used across the Northwest, and we're looking for reliable people who want to grow their skills and be part of a solid, safetyfocused team.

Starting Pay & Growth

  • Starting Wage: $25.24/hour
  • Growth Path: Progress up to Level 6 with training, handson skill development, and tenure
  • Overtime: Double time after 50 hours weekly (nonexempt roles)
  • Shift Differentials: Additional pay depending on shift

What You'll Be Doing

This is a fastpaced, physical manufacturing role. You will:

  • Operate and monitor production machinery
  • Handle roofing materials and finished products
  • Perform basic measurements and calculations
  • Support safe, clean, consistent operations
  • Work as part of a team to meet production goals

Physical Requirements

You must be able to:

  • Use hands to handle materials and operate equipment
  • Reach, grip, and perform repetitive motions
  • Talk and listen while working around machinery
  • Stand, walk, and sit for long periods
  • Bend at the waist
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Maintain reliable, regular attendance

Basic math and the ability to read a measuring tape are required.
