Job description

Autonomy Staffing is hiring Swing Shift Machine Operators to join a well-established manufacturing client in the steel wire industry. This is a full-time opportunity with a stable, growth-oriented company offering strong pay progression and long-term career potential.

Shift Hours: 2:30 PM โ€“ 10:30 PM or 3:00 PM โ€“ 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday (with overtime opportunities)

Pay: Starting at $23/hour, with an automatic increase to $26/hour after 90 days

What You'll Do:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to manufacture steel wire products
  • Load raw materials and unload finished product
  • Perform routine quality checks throughout your shift to ensure product meets specifications
  • Make minor adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain production flow
  • Troubleshoot basic machine issues and report any concerns to the shift lead or maintenance team
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements

Requirements:

  • Prior machine operating experience required (manufacturing, production, or industrial setting)
  • Comfortable working 50 hours per week, including occasional Saturdays as needed
  • Able to work in a dirty/industrial environment around metals, dust, and heavy machinery
  • Able to perform physical work โ€” standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift
  • Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
  • Able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
  • Authorized to work in the United States
