Job description

Carlisle Construction Materials (CCM), is a global leader in the building materials industry. We've been around since 1917. In just the past six years, our company has grown by nearly 70%.
We are looking for an Operator to join our team in our Puyallup, WA facility. The Operator will be responsible for the production of Poly-ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include processing chemical at the foam head, operation of process control panel. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, calculation of output square feet, sheet length and linear feet. Other skills include the ability to read gauges, meters and tape measures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate and maintain foam head area.
  • Check temperature and fluid level of head part cleaner.
  • Prepare and changing of head parts, nozzles and injectors.
  • Preparing facer rolls and doing facer splices
  • Use of SAPI. Enter data and reading as outlined in document.
  • Inspect and maintain proper chemical laydown.
  • Communicate with other operators and supervisor on start-up and during production run.
  • Maintain head parts and associated equipment.
  • Produce product to specification with the use of operator run logs
  • Changing chemical totes
  • Shimming laminator
  • Housekeeping of Plant inside and out.
  • Assist in training of new team members
  • Support facer splices / facer change overs
  • Fill in other areas of the plant as required

Working Conditions:
  • Activities occur inside and insulation manufacturing facility. Job includes but are not limited to exposure to the following:
    • Temperatures exposed to both ambient/outside temperatures
    • Nuisance dust, use of chemicals, working with mechanical parts, pinch points
    • Noise of industrial machinery
  • Typically, 40 hours per week with overtime as required
  • 3 shifts Sunday-Thursday with weekends as required
  • Fast paced 24/7 operations
