Supply Chain Intern (Full Time) - Houston, TX

Now Hiring: Supply Chain Intern (Full-Time Opportunity)

Join A&C Plastics!

We're looking for a Supply Chain Intern who's eager to learn and excited to gain hands-on experience across all areas of supply chain.

This internship is designed to lead into a full-time Supply Chain Analyst position. Our goal is to hire someone who demonstrates the skills, initiative, and cultural fit to join our team permanently. While we ask for a minimum internship commitment of 6 months, outstanding candidates may be considered for full-time employment even sooner if it's a great mutual fit.

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with special projects to streamline supply chain operations
  • Help with ordering materials for our Houston, Colorado Springs, and Schiller Park warehouses
  • Ensure proper delivery of materials by overseeing import and domestic shipments
  • Coordinate with Receiving and Warehouse departments to manage and adjust inventory
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to answer RFQs and source materials
  • Analyze vendor quotes and select suppliers based on price, quality, service, and lead times
  • Help Sales resolve product issues by working with manufacturers and processing claims
  • Handle other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

Recent graduate or currently completing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field (graduating soon preferred)

Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn

Comfortable adapting to different tasks and workloads

Experience with Microsoft Excel required

ERP system knowledge is a plus
