As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you'll serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert, driving complex engineering initiatives from concept through implementation while mentoring others and helping establish engineering best practices across the organization.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the technical expert for CNC machining processes and manufacturing methods.
  • Lead high-impact engineering projects, including automation initiatives, capital equipment implementation, and new product introductions.
  • Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes that improve quality, throughput, and efficiency.
  • Design and implement fixtures, tooling, and workholding solutions for complex precision-machined components.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective actions.
  • Partner directly with customers on manufacturability, process development, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Establish engineering standards and best practices across the organization.
  • Mentor and develop fellow engineers while serving as a technical resource for cross-functional teams.
Requirements:

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
  • 5+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience in precision machining, aerospace, medical device, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Advanced knowledge of CNC machining processes, GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and manufacturing process development.
  • Experience designing fixtures, workholding, and production tooling.
  • Experience with ERP Systems.
  • Strong experience with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Proven success leading process improvement, automation, and capital equipment projects.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and technical initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or NADCAP environments.
  • ERP - Epicor
  • Knowledge of Mastercam and PDM software.
  • Six Sigma, PMP, SME, or other advanced manufacturing certifications.
  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or medical device customers.
