We have an immediate full-time second and third shift opening and are searching for a new team member to join our Production Department in Scranton as Material Handlers. These are entry level opportunities that are supported by a team that will train you to perform in our unique environment.
What you can expect to be doing:
  • This position is "hands on" and the individual should have a self-starter mindset.
  • The majority of your shift will involve operating large equipment such as shredders and grinders.
  • Manually load and unload product into and out of equipment.
  • Material Handlers are regularly on their feet, monitoring, adjusting, and attentively aware of the equipment they are operating.
  • Forklifts are used to transfer material within the production floor - please note this is not a forklift position.
  • Responsible for executing all safety protocols - safety is critical to everyone's success.
  • Responsible for keeping your designated work area clean

What we are looking for in our hires:
  • Our successful candidates are self-starters who are willing to learn!
  • Have a strong work ethic - dependable and demonstrate good attendance
  • Able to work an 8-hour shift
    • 2nd Shift 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm
    • 3rd Shift 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
    • Able to meet the physical qualifications for this position, which include:
      • Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
      • Standing for an extended period of time
      • Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach
      • Working in both hot and cold conditions
  • Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
  • Need to be able to read, write, and understand English
  • Basic computer knowledge is a plus
  • Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not necessary
  • Mechanically inclined with an attention to detail
  • Lastly, have a positive attitude and be willing to assist others when needed.
