TYMETAL Corp. has a full time opening for a safe, experienced driver with a clean, Class A commercial drivers license. Our Truck Driver will transport finished products to customers and transports raw materials or work in process to and from vendors such as a powder coater, galvanizer, etc. This individual is responsible for loading and unloading of all items being transported. When not on a pickup or delivery, the Truck Driver will perform other duties in the manufacturing facility, such as material handling, cutting and/or product assembly.

Your role as a Truck Driver:
  • Safely and efficiently transport materials when on the road or in the yard.
  • Follow all DOT guidelines for safe driving (including maximums of 11 hours driving per day and 14 hours on duty, with 10 hours off duty required between days with driving).
  • Work well with all other associates as well as independently.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment including equipment used. Wear proper PPE, actively seek to identify and notify management of potential hazards in the workplace and be familiar with all safety programs.
  • Maintain an accurate time sheet and logbook, following all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
  • On occasion (to average less than 5 times per month), delivery route will require more than 11 hours of driving, so an overnight stay will be required to allow for 10 hours off duty between maximum 11 hour driving shifts.

What We're Looking For:
  • Clean and valid Class A drivers' license and excellent safety record.
  • Three or more years of experience as a commercial driver.
  • Familiarity with FMCSA regulations and ability to pass a DOT physical
  • Climb, balance, stoop, bend and kneel as necessary.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Visual acuity at long distances as well as good peripheral vision and depth perception.
