Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals is looking for an Industrial Powder Room Associate. The associate will be responsible for pressing parts using cold isostatic presses and process powders through various processes. This position requires ability to follow rigid standard operating practices, great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Identification of product when storing materials per work instructions.

  • Complete all inspections as instructed and complete in-process reports as well as job packet or traveler information.

  • Equipment and material inventory.

  • Communicate with team leaders, supervision, engineering and maintenance of any issue when operating machines or issues with products such as leak in bag, or dimensional issues, contamination by using wrong powders.

  • Be organized and clean at workstation

  • Maintain integrity of powder lots when selecting to use for setting up/processing jobs. Critical to review and make sure all identification matches prior to using.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 1-3 years related experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Above average mathematic skills

  • Must be able to or trained to use calipers, tape measure, as well as scales to weigh parts and able to read a tape measure.

  • Able to lift 50 pounds, stand, bend, and reach with both arms and hands

  • This position requires compliance with U.S. export control regulations, including ITAR. Qualified candidates must meet ITAR eligibility requirements.
