Job Description Summary
Oxford Forge, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our 2nd or 3rd shift team, as a Manufacturing Technician in Training. This entry-level position offers starting pay at $21.96 plus an off-shift premium, the position also includes comprehensive hands-on training to develop essential skills in manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality control, preparing you for a successful career in our dynamic production environment.
Job Description:
* Learn and perform various manufacturing tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians and supervisors.
* Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently after appropriate training.
* Assist with the setup, adjustment, and minor troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment.
* Inspect products for quality defects and ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
* Document production data, including quantities, times, and quality checks.
* Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall plant cleanliness.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs.
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production status and issues.
Required Skills and Education
Education:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
* Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new technical skills.
