Job description

PELLON, officially known as PCP Group, LLC, is a leading provider of specialty nonwoven fabrics and materials that support industries ranging from fashion and home textiles to industrial applications. We are currently seeking Manufacturing Associates to join our Clearwater, FL team. As a Manufacturing Associate at Pellon, you will play a critical role in operating production equipment, supporting material flow, and ensuring finished products meet quality standards. This hands-on position is essential to keeping our manufacturing operations running efficiently and provides the opportunity to contribute to a company that values teamwork, attention to detail, safety, and operational excellence.

Duties include:

  • Operate production and converting equipment to manufacture nonwoven fabric materials according to specifications.
  • Inspect finished materials for defects, inconsistencies, or damage and report quality concerns.
  • Package finished goods, label products accurately, and prepare pallets for transfer to the warehouse.
  • Load raw materials (fabric rolls, cores, packaging supplies) onto machinery as needed.
  • Assist with inventory movement between production and warehouse as required.
  • Participate in cross-training to operate multiple production lines or equipment.
  • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
  • Perform routine inspections and quality checks on products before packaging or shipment.
  • Assist with setup, adjustments, and changeovers of production machinery.
  • Accurately record production data, including output counts, downtime, and material usage.
  • Perform routine housekeeping and keep work areas clean and organized to support safe operations.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines when working around machinery and materials.
  • Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

*Requirements*

  • 1–2 years of prior warehouse experience required.
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience operating or assisting with production machinery preferred.
  • Comfortable performing machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers (training provided).
  • Ability to complete production documentation accurately.
  • Forklift or material handling experience preferred but not required.
  • Experience in textile, converting, or nonwoven manufacturing highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working with quality standards or inspections.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to learn multiple production lines (cross-training).
  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Employment contingent upon successful background check and drug screen.
