Manufacturing Assistant Lead Technician


We have an exciting new opportunity here at Powerserve for a Manufacturing Assistant Lead Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on individual who enjoys working with electrical systems, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is interested in growing into a future leadership role.


Position Overview

The Manufacturing Assistant Lead Technician will primarily be responsible for testing and troubleshooting electrical cabinets produced by our manufacturing group. This role also supports the broader manufacturing team as needed and works closely with the Lead to ensure projects are completed accurately and efficiently.


Schedule & Compensation

  • Pay Range: $25–$30 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, typically Monday–Thursday
  • Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required
  • Work Location: On-site only


Key Responsibilities

  • Test and troubleshoot electrical cabinets and assemblies
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical circuit issues
  • Document testing, troubleshooting, and work performed
  • Assist in other manufacturing tasks as needed
  • Work independently once assigned tasks, with minimal supervision
  • Maintain an organized and flexible approach to daily work


Required Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of fundamental electrical principles
  • Ability to read schematics and wiring drawings
  • Troubleshooting skills for electrical circuits
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Competency in the English language (written and verbal)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Residence within 50 miles / 1 hour of the office (no paid daily commute travel)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical Technical degree or Engineering degree
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Experience working with electrical cabinets or industrial control systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
