Job Summary:
InterSystems is a creative data technology provider focused on delivering a unified foundation for next-generation applications in healthcare and other sectors. The Senior Quality Development Engineer will work as a technical specialist in a cross-functional Agile development team, contributing to the building and maintaining of clinical software while ensuring high quality through functional testing strategies and collaboration with other teams.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute as a technical specialist in a cross-functional Agile development team building and maintaining clinical software.
• Develop functional testing strategies to validate application performance, security, and interoperability.
• Collaborate with other Agile teams on joint projects to advise and deliver work of high quality and caliber.
• Identify, document and bring awareness to functional and non-functional issues in application from design through to validation.
• Create and maintain a suite of both automated and manual regression test scripts for continuous integration systems.
• System management tasks to support testing activities.
• Design and build scripts to support testing activities.
• Other duties may be directed by the company from time to time.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Tertiary qualification in IT or related discipline.
• 6+ years professional IT experience.
• Understands web or mobile development technologies.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to learning new methodology, technologies and software products.
• Be able to drive tasks forward independently while keeping stakeholders informed.
• Good understanding of the SDLC and software testing principles.
Preferred:
• Selenium or Appium experience is advantageous.
• Experience in testing AI is advantageous.
• Qualifications and/or certifications in AI are advantageous.
• Technical proficiency in at least 1 programming language is advantageous.
• System administration or DevOps experience is advantageous.
