Job description

We're seeking Laborers to work in a landfill environment on Winsted, MN! Shifts vary! This is a hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, supporting a team, and working outdoors in varying conditions

Job Title: General Laborer
Location: Winsted, MN
Pay Rate:$17.00-$19.00/hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lift and move materials as directed
  • Load and unload vehicles
  • Dig, refill holes, and assist with site cleanup
  • Perform general labor activities as needed
  • Follow directions from supervisors and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Must have 6inch lace up work boots
  • 0–4 years of prior related experience
Work Environment:
  • Physical labor is a major component of the role
  • Must be able to handle objects weighing up to 30 pounds for most of the workday
  • Occasional exposure to risks such as cuts, burns, or chemicals
  • Occasional exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes
  • Work is conducted primarily outdoors in a manual labor setting
