We are a growing organization supporting critical national security missions through expertise in language and culture, training and education, information technology, cybersecurity, and intelligence operations.

We are currently seeking Chinese-Mandarin Linguist to support critical intelligence missions in Pensacola, Florida. This position provides foreign language interpretation, translation, transcription, and analytical support to Department of Defense and Intelligence Community operations. Successful candidates will help transform foreign language information into actionable intelligence supporting national security objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

The Chinese-Mandarin Linguist will:

Provide accurate and timely foreign language interpretation, translation, transcription, and summarization services between Mandarin Chinese and English.

Support intelligence missions involving:

    • Counterintelligence (CI)
    • Human Intelligence (HUMINT)
    • Signals Intelligence (SIGINT)
    • Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)

Exploit foreign language materials to identify and extract actionable intelligence supporting real-world operations.

Translate a broad range of written and spoken materials while preserving the meaning, context, and intent of the original content.

Produce clear, complete, and accurate translations in accordance with Government quality standards.

Support operational and intelligence requirements by translating and interpreting technical, military, legal, political, economic, scientific, and cultural information.

Interpret during meetings, conferences, interviews, and other operational engagements as required.

Prepare summaries, transcriptions, and analytical reports from foreign language materials.

Review and edit translated products to ensure linguistic accuracy, consistency, and quality.

Compare source and translated documents to verify substantive accuracy and conformity across languages.

Translate and interpret a variety of materials, including:

    • Contracts and legal documents
    • Treaties and international agreements
    • Military and technical manuals
    • Court documents
    • Scientific and technical publications
    • Political speeches and policy papers
    • Official government correspondence
    • Intelligence reporting
    • Briefings and presentations

Support additional mission requirements and high-priority intelligence taskings as assigned.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance.

Minimum Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) Level 3/3 proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (reading/listening or reading/speaking, as required by the Government) and English.

Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, timely, and high-quality translations and interpretations in operational environments.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently while supporting fast-paced intelligence operations.
