Summit Federal  Services, LLC (SFS) with headquarters in Oakland, Maryland, is a fast growing woman owned Small Business and HUBZone company with an outstanding record of performance providing more effective and efficient acquisition, business process, training, IT, administrative and security services to multiple federal agencies.
SFS is looking for Editor to provide services to provide the NGB Staff Support Services supporting  the National Guard. This position is contingent upon contract award. 
Edits NGB ExecSec correspondence, reports, staff packages, issuances, SOPs, memoranda, and executive documents for grammar, format, clarity, completeness, consistency, and compliance with NGB staffing standards; coordinates corrections with Action Officers; supports package quality control; and ensures documents are ready for Government review, approval, routing, and closure.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, communications, journalism, public administration, or related field
  •  3+ years of relevant experince or 1 year of current NGB contract experince. , Executive Secretariat, staff action, correspondence, policy, or technical editing experience.
  • Skilled in grammar, formatting, plain language, executive correspondence, staff packages, SOPs, reports, memoranda, and document quality control.
  • Experience coordinating edits with Action Officers and senior staff. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Active Secret required
  • Top Secret eligibility preferred.
  • Telework Available
