  • Inโ€‘Field Sales: Demonstrate Halterโ€™s virtual fencing on ranches, provide product benefits, and assist customers during onโ€‘site visits.
  • Expanding Existing Opportunities: Identify upsell opportunities and deepen relationships with current customers.
  • Hitting Sales Targets: Manage your pipeline, qualify leads, and close deals while maintaining focus on future opportunities.
  • Customer Account Management: Postโ€‘sale, support customersโ€™ success, provide ongoing support, and ensure smooth handoff to onboarding and deployment teams.
  • Territory Ownership: Own and maintain visibility across the entire region, engaging with local stakeholders and agencies.
  • Customer Onboarding: Lead the endโ€‘toโ€‘end onboarding experience and collaboratively transition customers to implementation teams.
  • Field Learnings & Feedback: Gather and communicate customer feedback to inform product improvements.
  • Collaborating with Support Teams: Work with internal partners to resolve issues quickly and keep customers fully supported.
  • Attending Industry Events: Generate leads and deepen relationships at relevant events such as CattleCon and local association meetings.
  • Contributing to US Sales Strategy: Provide input on sales processes and strategies to improve effectiveness across the U.S. market.
Qualifications
  • Driven Attitude & Communication Skills: Resultsโ€‘driven, proactive, and adept at communicating with customers and teams.
  • Ranching / Cattle Experience: Knowledge of ranching or cattle operations to connect with customers.
  • Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Proven ability to create new business, negotiate valueโ€‘based conversations, and nurture longโ€‘term relationships.
  • Territory Management Experience: Experience managing a large territory with balanced sales and customer success focus, ideally in agriculture or tech.
  • Problem Solving & Collaboration Ability: Resourceful and works well with crossโ€‘functional teams.
  • Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within the territory to engage with customers and prospects.
Bonus
  • Familiarity with precision agriculture or virtual fencing technologies.
  • Background in customerโ€‘facing agriculture technology roles.
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions in a B2B environment.
Benefits
  • Annual USD$750 selfโ€‘development budget.
  • Bestโ€‘inโ€‘class health insurance for employees and families.
  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary caregivers and 8 weeks for secondary.
  • Unlimited paid annual leave and wellness leave.
  • 401(k) with 100% match on the first 3% and 50% match on the next 2% of contributions.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and shareholder plan.
