Job description

Regional Director — Western, Global Risk Services

ABOUT PROSEGUR GLOBAL RISK SERVICES

Prosegur Global Risk Services (GRS) is the corporate security advisory and services division of Prosegur, one of the world's largest security companies with more than 175,000 employees operating across 34 countries. GRS delivers a comprehensive portfolio of security and intelligence solutions to Fortune 500 clients, including executive protection, global security operations center (GSOC) services, threat intelligence, risk consulting, workplace violence prevention, and supply chain security. Operating through a hybrid model of W-2 professionals and a rigorously vetted global partner network, GRS provides clients with both strategic guidance and operational execution at scale.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Regional Director, Western Region is a senior field leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing client relationships, and overseeing service delivery quality across the western United States. This position is both a business developer and a client services leader — equal parts trusted advisor to security executives and accountable owner of regional performance.

The ideal candidate is deeply embedded in the Bay Area and broader West Coast security professional community, brings a blend of government service and corporate security leadership, and approaches client engagement through a consultative, relationship-first philosophy consistent with the GRS model. This is not a transactional sales role; it requires a credible security professional who builds long-term trust with CSOs, VP-level security leaders, and C-suite executives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development

- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across the GRS service portfolio within the western region, with initial emphasis on the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley markets.

- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified prospects, leveraging an established network of corporate security professionals, industry associations, and referral relationships.

- Represent GRS at regional security industry events, conferences, and professional organizations — including SVSG, ASIS, OSAC and comparable groups — serving as a visible, credible ambassador for the GRS brand.

- Lead consultative needs assessments with prospective clients, positioning GRS solutions against specific operational gaps and risk exposures rather than product-pushing.

- Author and contribute to proposals, statements of work, and pricing models in coordination with the GRS operations and subject matter expert teams.

- Partner with the SVP and GRS leadership on account strategy, pricing decisions, and pursuit prioritization.

Client Relationship Management

- Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned GRS clients within the western region, ensuring service quality, client satisfaction, and contract retention.

- Conduct regular client business reviews, proactively identifying opportunities to expand GRS's scope of service and deepen strategic partnership.

- Act as an escalation point for operational issues, coordinating resolution with GRS's operations team and subject matter experts.

- Monitor client security environments for emerging risks or gaps that GRS may be positioned to address.

Regional Presence & Community Engagement

- Maintain high visibility across regional security professional networks, industry associations, and peer groups in the Bay Area, Pacific Northwest, Southwest, and broader western region.

- Cultivate referral relationships with complementary service providers, law firms, HR leaders, and other professionals who interface with corporate security buyers.

- Provide market intelligence to GRS leadership regarding regional competitive dynamics, emerging client needs, and industry trends.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate security, intelligence, law enforcement, or related fields, with a demonstrated record of performance in senior roles.

- Prior government service in an intelligence, federal law enforcement, military, diplomatic security, or comparable capacity — bringing credibility, tradecraft, and professional network depth that resonates with security executives.

- Meaningful corporate security experience, including direct engagement with C-suite or senior security leadership at large organizations.

- Established professional presence and relationships within the Bay Area and Silicon Valley security community; active participation in groups such as SVSG, ASIS, ISMA, OSAC, DSAC, InfraGard, or equivalent organizations is highly valued.
