Job description

RESIDENTIAL WINDOW AND SIDING PRODUCTION MANAGER
 Local company looking for a Production Manager for residential window and siding projects.  Project Managers responsibilities include measuring jobs, ordering materials, job site inspections, communicating/meeting with customers, coordinating installations and perform service calls as needed. 
 
The Production Manager is responsible for all aspects of the production process.  He/She coordinates all activities related to the construction of jobs.  The Production Manager is responsible for completing each job on time, on budget and with a high level of quality.  The Production Manager will represent the company for all production related items.  Complete customer satisfaction is the ultimate goal for completing projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
·        Minimum of five (5) years, full-time experience in managing replacement windows, vinyl siding, and LP siding
·        Professional degree preferred but not required.
·        Five or more years of project management experience.
·        Proficient with MS OFFICE and project management software.
·        Excellent communication skills dealing with customers.
·        Working knowledge of residential construction, techniques and systems; and building codes.
·        Must be able to manage multiple projects from start to finish.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contact customers
  • Schedule measures with customers
  • Measure for job/material ordering
  • Fill out order forms and submit them for production
  • Keep customers informed weekly of job progress. 
  • Receive materials at the warehouse
  • Schedule jobs/installers
  • Get completion forms on every job.  
  • Collect payment for every job.  
  • Quality Control on installations 
  • Breakdown jobs costs and review them against the sales contract
  • review job pay sheets for subcontractors
  • Run small repairs when needed
  • Miscellaneous items needed to get project completed on time and within budget.
  • Keep outlook calendar updated.  Let the office know where you are at when you are out of the office.
  • Keep projects updated in Lead Perfection.
