Job description

Job Summary Why Join Us

Abrazo Medical Group is seeking a Neurologist to join a thriving, well-established outpatient practice serving Verrado and the growing Phoenix West Valley — and this role was built with physician longevity in mind. You'll step into a collaborative neuroscience team of 7 neurologists and 2 neurosurgeons, backed by a strong and growing referral base and the full infrastructure of a large integrated health system. The employed model here means stability, centralized support, and the freedom to focus on what matters most: delivering excellent neurological care. If you're looking for a practice you can grow in — not just grow through — this is it.

Position Highlights
  • Specialty: Outpatient neurology; subspecialty interests can be incorporated
  • True outpatient-only practice — no hospital rounding, no in-house call
  • Call structure: Phone-only, limited to your own established patients; no nights, no weekends
  • Schedule: Predictable, Monday–Friday weekday clinic schedule
  • Patient volume: Approximately 25 patients per day
  • Team: Join 7 neurologists and 2 neurosurgeons in a well-organized neuroscience group
  • Setting: Employed model through Abrazo Medical Group / Tenet Healthcare
  • EMR: Athena
  • Support staff: Medical assistants, authorization specialists, imaging technologists, and dedicated scheduling and front office teams
  • Referral base: Robust and expanding, driven by continued West Valley population growth
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation package through Abrazo Medical Group's employed physician model
  • CME allowance
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Centralized billing, credentialing, HR, and compliance support — so you're not managing the business of medicine
  • Malpractice insurance provided
  • Health, dental, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Deferred compensation program
  • Relocation assistance
Candidate Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Arizona licensed or eligible for Arizona licensure
Why Phoenix

Phoenix delivers an exceptional quality of life for physicians who want more than a great job — they want a great life outside of it. The metro's warm, sunny climate pairs with world-class outdoor recreation, from desert hikes and mountain trails to golf, cycling, and water sports just a short drive away. The city offers a diverse mix of urban and suburban living options, standout dining, and a growing cultural scene, all with a cost of living that outperforms most major metros. Verrado itself is a master-planned community with top-rated schools, mountain views, and a genuine neighborhood feel — a rare find this close to a major city.

Organization Description

Abrazo West Campus is recognized for providing exceptional, comprehensive care to patients in West Valley communities. The 200-bed acute care hospital offers advanced services, including the da Vinci Xi surgical platform, Level I Trauma Center, Loop-X system, orthopedics, obstetrics and cardiovascular care.
