OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY

Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.JOB DESCRIPTION

WITI FOX 6, a FOX-owned and operated station, is looking for a Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We need a problem-solver dedicated to ensuring our 24/7/365 broadcast remains seamless through expert preventative maintenance, rapid troubleshooting, and precision equipment installation.
Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our broadcast operations. Your primary duties include:
Systems Integration: Collaborate with the engineering team to design, install, test, and document new hardware and software systems.
Technical Support: Provide rapid troubleshooting and repairs to minimize airtime interruptions for live and production events.
Network Security: Manage and maintain data networks while strictly adhering to Information Security policies.
Operational Training: Act as a technical resource, providing guidance and training to operational staff on daily workflows and equipment use.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine software/hardware updates and system checks to uphold high engineering standards.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Deliver exceptional internal customer service to ensure all departments have the tools they need to succeed.

Technical & Physical Demands:
Experience: Prior background in television/radio broadcast engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
Problem Solving: Proven ability to resolve complex technical glitches during long shifts.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable climbing ladders (up to 20 feet), lifting up to 40 pounds, and working in confined spaces.
Scheduling: Flexibility is key-this role requires the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to support a 24-hour Broadcast Station.
