Job description

Windermere Signature Properties, the leading independent real estate brokerage company serving the Greater Sacramento Region, is an immediate job opportunity for an experienced Property Management Accountant to join our team.ย  This is an onsite, full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm at our corporate office located in Sacramento, California.ย 

We are looking for a customer service-oriented individual with the ability to complete multi-level tasks in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have excellent communication skills with an eye for detail and have the ability to interact effectively with sales agents, office staff and varied personalities in a real estate office setting.ย 

Primary Responsibilities include:

  • Extract financial information from property management agreements and lease agreements
  • Bill rents
  • Post cash receipts
  • Pay vendors
  • Account for security deposits
  • Calculate property manager commissions
  • Calculate and pay property owner draws
  • Produce owner and tenant reports
  • Process annual 1099s
  • Other ad hoc projects as directed

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education a plus.
  • Minimum three years of residential or commercial property management accounting experience, including posting of rent receipts and security deposits, A/R, A/P, commission calculations, etc.
  • AppFolio or other comparable property management software experience
  • Minimum three years of customer service experience
