The University of South Florida (USF) Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Endocrinology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Endocrinologist to join our growing program at the USF Diabetes and Endocrinology Center (USF DDE). This full-time faculty position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of clinical services and medical education at one of the nation’s top research institutions.

  • Teaching responsibilities include mentoring medical students, residents, and endocrine fellows at a major academic institution.
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to scholarly work.
  • State-of-the-art facilities including the 17 Davis (Davis Island) Endocrinology Office, a new service line featuring world-renowned specialists.
Special Requirements
Qualified candidates are expected to be outstanding clinicians who will contribute to the expansion of USF DDE clinical services with a focus on thyroid/parathyroid, adrenal disorders, and osteoporosis. Responsibilities include:
  • Teaching, research, and clinical service within the academic institution.
  • Academic advising and mentorship for medical students and trainees.
  • Participation in university, college, and statewide committees as a representative of the institution.
  • Contributing to NIH-funded research and other scholarly activities.
Candidate Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
  • Strong clinical skills with a passion for patient care, teaching, and research.
  • Experience or interest in NIH-funded research is encouraged.
