Job description

Ready to build the extraordinary? Stonecast is not your average concrete manufacturer. We bring concrete to life - creating high-end architectural precast products for iconic commercial and industrial projects across the Midwest. We are growing and seeking a Project Manager with experience in architectural precast, general contracting, or manufacturing project management, to join our team of builders, thinkers, and doers.
If you thrive on coordination, communication, and leading a project from blueprint to delivery, this role is for you.
What You'll Do:
As our Project Manager, you'll be the central hub between clients, consultants, engineers, production, and internal teams. You'll own the full lifecycle of projects - from kickoff to delivery - ensuring timelines, drawings, decisions, and deliveries are perfectly aligned.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Driving project coordination after award - managing schedules, submittals, repairs, and delivery dates
  • Leading client and consultant communications - you are the main point of contact
  • Overseeing design management - ensuring accuracy and quality of shop drawings and piece details
  • Tracking progress with clarity and purpose - no missed steps, no missed deadlines
  • Driving change orders, RFIs, and mock-up approvals with speed and precision
  • Ensuring fabrication and erection logistics are flawlessly executed
  • Attending production meetings and championing schedule alignment across departments
    Who You Are:
You're not just a "project manager" - you're a project leader. You don't just manage timelines; you make sure nothing gets lost in translation. You anticipate problems, build relationships, and raise the bar every step of the way.
    Preferred backgrounds:
    • Architectural precast industry experience
    • Project management experience at a general contractor
    • Manufacturing experience with strong project management skills

    You also bring:
    • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and digital
    • High attention to detail and strong organization skills
    • Ability to lead with confidence and accountability
    • Passion for process, timelines, and client satisfaction
    • The courage to own decisions and learn from mistakes
      Why Stonecast?
We builds amazing things! You'll join a close-knit, experienced team that thrives on challenge, values trust, and celebrates results. We believe in treating the business as if it were your own - and we'll treat your career the same way.
