Job description

As the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will lead all maintenance functions and capital projects within the facility. You will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve capital projects.
You will be located at PPG's Gainesville, TX Plant and will report to the Plant Manager. PPG offers excellent Medical, Dental, & Vision Benefits; matching 401k + retirement savings; and Paid Vacation, Holiday pay.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program.
  • Ensure high equipment reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis efforts for equipment failures.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as uptime, mean time between failures (MTBF), and maintenance costs.
  • Manage maintenance planning and scheduling to increase workforce efficiency.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets.

Qualifications:
  • High School/GED required; bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline is preferred.
  • 7 + years of experience in an operations maintenance or engineering role with planning, scheduling and leading projects.
  • Able to use Auto Desk or equivalent software.
  • Experience with CMMS, SAP, Maximo, MicroMain.
