As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Brightside Haven, you will:

• Conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients seeking assistance for emotional and mental health challenges.
• Facilitate open conversations allowing clients to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a supportive environment.
• Utilize evidence-based methodologies to evaluate clients' needs through assessments and evaluative discussions.
• Collaborate with clients to define treatment goals, formulate actionable plans, and foster self-awareness and personal growth.
• Employ a solution-focused approach to support clients in navigating their issues and achieving positive outcomes.
• Regularly document client progress and update treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that each client receives tailored support.

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity clients who are seeking treatment to address a range of emotional and mental health concerns. Each client is carefully screened before scheduling a session, ensuring that you engage with individuals who are prepared and motivated for therapeutic support. The focus on lower-acuity cases means you can apply your expertise efficiently in a structured environment.

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Possession of a full, unrestricted license to practice independently, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature, essential for building rapport with clients.
• Proficiency in using digital tools and technology, demonstrating the ability to navigate virtual counseling platforms efficiently.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

• Previous experience in a remote counseling role.
• Exposure to diverse client demographics and a variety of therapeutic modalities.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapy techniques and preventative care strategies.

Brightside Haven offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually based on hours worked. Additional benefits include:
