PURPOSE

The IT Operations Coordinator serves as the administrative front desk and operational contact for the IT department, greeting walk-in staff and routing general inquiries. Under the direction of IT leadership, this role supports departmental efficiency and precise record-keeping by tracking asset lifecycles, monitoring service performance, routing vendor communications, and assisting with budget tracking. The coordinator also provides supplemental support to the Service Desk and broader IT functions to facilitate seamless service delivery across the organization.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Front Desk & Operational Contact: Serve as the physical front desk presence for the IT department; greet walk-in guests, address general operational inquiries, and route technical support requests to the IT Service Desk or appropriate Team Members.
  • Service Delivery Support: Assist the Director with tracking and prioritizing service delivery performance across all IT functions, including monitoring SLAs, routing incoming tickets, and providing supplemental ticketing or walk-in support.
  • Operations Support: Provide administrative support to IT leadership, manage routine correspondence, maintain department records, and coordinate deployment logistics.
  • Budget Tracking: Assist with budget tracking, monitor expenses, process invoices, and gather data/documentation to assist leadership in ensuring alignment with company policies & procedures.
  • Maintenance Scheduling: Assist leadership with the scheduling of routine hardware updates, software patches, system backups, and recurring tasks.
  • Asset & Inventory Control: Maintain inventory lifecycle records for all IT hardware, software licenses, warranties, subscriptions, and office supplies.
  • Vendor Coordination: Support IT Leadership by coordinating internal logistics for vendor installations, tracking service delivery metrics for Director review, and routing vendor communications to the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Organize IT policies, SOPs, and change control records while organizing audit documentation for leadership review.
  • Access Coordination: Process and verify technical onboarding and offboarding requests, hardware assignments, and software permissions based on approved Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies and procedures.
  • Communications & Tracking: Broadcast upgrade or outage notifications to the organization, record key meeting minutes, and track departmental action items.
  • Other Responsibilities: Stay current on casino and hospitality information and perform other supportive duties as assigned.


Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. An additional one (1) year of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in an Information Technology department, which may include administrative support, operational coordination, or hands-on IT technical roles.
  • Foundational experience navigating and updating service desk ticketing systems or IT service management tools required.

  • Administrative Coordination: Mastery of scheduling, record-keeping, and high-volume departmental workflows.
  • IT Service Literacy: Solid grasp of help desk ticketing systems, hardware/software assets, and user access.
  • Financial Tracking: Skilled in monitoring budget expenses, processing vendor invoices, and basic spreadsheet analysis.
  • Operations Scheduling: Proven ability to manage timelines for preventative maintenance, vendor visits, and IT upgrades.
  • Vendor Liaison: Professional capability to coordinate external vendors, monitor service delivery, and maintain standard service agreements.
  • Detail & Compliance: Exceptional precision in tracking hardware assets, software licenses, and IT audit records.
  • Triage & Communication: Strong capability to draft clear user alerts, record minutes, and prioritize incoming requests.
  • Fast-Paced Adaptability: Highly resilient when shifting from quiet desk tasks to urgent, high-volume support needs.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
