Position Description:
This role involves acting as the primary IT liaison, driving the employee technology experience, managing local IT projects and budgets, and ensuring alignment with global IT strategies while advocating for local site needs. You will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with local skill teams and business customers, serving as the primary ""face-off"" to ensure IT services meet evolving needs and influence the IT roadmap for an enhanced employee experience. The position requires a focus on problem resolution, continuous improvement, and maintaining robust security and compliance across all site IT operations

Experience Required:
  • Senior Associate Exp: 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or a related field.
  •  Proven experience supporting non-manufacturing, research, or advanced engineering environments is highly desirable. Background in project management. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure components (networking, servers, cloud services, end-user computing).
  •  Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks (e.g., ITIL). Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations.
  •  Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  •  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on enhancing the employee technology experience.
Experience Preferred:
  • BSc (Comp Sci, Info Tech or related field) Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or relevant technical certifications (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, AWS).
  •  Experience with advanced engineering tools and software common in R&D environments. 
  • Familiarity with Ford's IT ecosystem and corporate culture.
