Overview

The Information Technology Support and Audio Visual & Event Manager is responsible for coordinating, executing, and maintaining all IT needs as directed by Corporate Director: IT, combined with the same for all event-related Audio-Visual technology needs for Kahler Hospitality Group's full-service properties. This role ensures seamless technical execution for meetings and events, enhances revenue opportunities, and protects guest experience standards.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all in-house AV needs
  • Review BEOs and confirm equipment requirements
  • Test and stage equipment prior to events
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in real time
  • Coordinate third-party AV providers when necessary
  • Maintain AV inventory and preventive maintenance logs
  • Support sales team in upselling event technology
  • Develop standardized AV pricing and packages
  • Train banquet and operations staff on basic AV handling
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards (where applicable)
Qualifications
  • 2-5 years event, hospitality, or AV experience
  • Strong working knowledge of projectors, audio systems, screens, and basic networking
  • Excellent guest-facing communication skills
