Job Summary:

The Administrator Chief Technology Officer will advise executive leadership on technology strategy, manage technology budgets, and develop long-term strategies to support business operations.
Responsibilities:
• Advising agency executive leadership on overall strategy for technology to ensure business goals are met.
• Advising agency executive leadership on management of budgets related to the use of technology.
• Development of long-term technological strategies to support business operations.
• Serve as a liaison between business areas, IT operations, and software/applications developers.
• Serve as a single point of contact for the agency executive team for all technical matters.
• Assist business areas with identifying business cases and creating solutions based on those business use cases.
• Develop agency strategy for vendor relations and management.
• Develop strategy for improving user experience and boost satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience overseeing all day-to-day aspects (planning, organizing, budgeting, etc.) of multi-faceted data management and/or modernization projects
• Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers involved in the collection, management and development of agency data resources in order to advance the agency's data modernization goals
• Experience working under data and IT security national standards applicable to the management and security of protected health information
Preferred:
• Experience working with or for government entities on data and/or IT-related projects
