Role Overview
OnQCx is seeking a Site IT Manager to support day-to-day technology operations for a large-scale mission-critical construction project in Indiana. This role will be embedded onsite within the project office/trailers and will focus on keeping communication systems, office connectivity, and user support running smoothly for the field and project management teams.
This is a hands-on support role ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting office IT environments in fast-paced operational settings.
Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite IT support for construction office and trailer operations
  • Troubleshoot internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, printers, phones, and workstation issues
  • Support video conferencing systems and meeting technology (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
  • Respond to day-to-day technical issues impacting project staff communication and productivity
  • Coordinate with vendors/providers to resolve outages or connectivity issues
  • Configure and maintain laptops, monitors, peripherals, and office equipment
  • Assist with onboarding/setup for new project personnel
  • Monitor and ensure stable office network and communication systems
  • Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for general IT support needs

Requirements
  • 5+ years of IT support or site support experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Experience supporting office internet, conferencing, and end-user systems
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Zoom, and general desktop support
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Comfortable providing white-glove support to field and office personnel
  • Construction project or field office experience is a plus
