Roles & Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end PagerDuty platform configuration including services, escalation policies, on-call schedules, event rules, notification profiles, and integrations
  • Design and implement urgency and routing models aligned to business criticality
  • Configure time-based routing to restrict non-critical alerts from triggering out-of-hours pages
  • Implement intelligent alert grouping and event orchestration for high-volume services
  • Drive alert noise reduction across all integrated monitoring sources
  • Define and maintain event rules including suppression, deduplication, and priority downgrades
  • Implement flap detection and alert consolidation for repetitive CI/service alerts
  • Configure maintenance window integrations for automated alert suppression during planned changes
  • Maintain suppression transparency and reporting for all suppressed alert classes
  • Design and manage on-call schedules including follow-the-sun coverage and rotation policies
  • Audit and optimize alert routing accuracy to ensure correct first responder assignment
  • Build and maintain incident runbook library with linked diagnostics and remediation actions
  • Manage integrations with upstream monitoring tools (APM, infrastructure, cloud, schedulers, webhooks)
  • Collaborate with monitoring tool SMEs (Dynatrace, SevOne, etc.) for end-to-end alert pipeline alignment
  • Manage PagerDutyServiceNow integration including incident creation and lifecycle synchronization

Salary Range-$90,000-$120,000 a year
