Special Operations Tactical Medic (SOTM) Instructor Job Title: Special Operations Tactical Medic (SOTM) Instructor Work Location: Stennis, MS Position Classification: Full Time Security Clearance: Active SECRET clearance Overview Trident Technologies and Consulting - Global, LLC (d.b.a. T2C-Global) is a SBA Certified Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Certified Woman Owned Florida Business Enterprise specializing in providing innovative global defense services and solutions. T2C-Global is currently seeking motivated and talented individuals who can offer the knowledge, skills, and experience as Special Operations Tactical Medic (SOTM) Instructor for our Stennis, MS based customer. This is a pre-award effort and the position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Advanced Training Command (ATC) requires professional support to satisfy the overall operational objectives of its SOTM and Sustainment programs. Responsible for support of instruction of the SOTM and SOTM Sustainment COIs. Instructors shall provide training, instructional support, and possesses skills in the methodology of curriculum and test question development, effective classroom instructional techniques, employment of training aids, student progress measurement strategies and course management. Specific duties include: • Course Topics Include all Critical Task List (CTL) items from the Special Operations Forces Baseline Interoperability Standards (SOFBIS) 350-29 not limited to and including: • National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Emergency Medical Technician. • NREMT Paramedic (NRP) • Tactical Medicine o National Hyperbaric Society Dive Medicine Technician o Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) for Providers o Prolonged Casualty Care (PCC) o Clinical and Field expedient Medicine • General Requirements o Provide administrative support for the processing of actions. o Be able to work in an environment that is fast-paced while completing multiple tasks, and meeting stringent timelines. o Perform data entry on computers utilizing current versions of Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other related programs o Provide a monthly summary report of actions taken under this contract. o Perform duties independently, with minimal oversight. o Be able to write correspondence in a military format, when necessary. Qualifications • Current DoD Active SECRET clearance • Shall have graduated a formal course of instruction in emergency medicine such as 18-D, SOCM (Special Operations Combat Medic), SOTM (Special Operations Tactical Medic), Dive Independent Duty Corpsman (DIVE IDC), Critical Care Nurese, or Physician's Assistant. • Shall have at least 2 years of instructor experience in a formal training environment educating military students in emergency and clinical medicine. • Shall have at least 2 years of experience as a Navy Enlisted Qualification (NEC 805A) Instructor and be certified as a US Navy Master Training Specialist (MTS) or equivalent. • Shall have at least 2 years' experience in course curriculum management. • Shall possess a current NRP or greater license. • Shall be a current Basic Life Support (BLS) instructor. • Shall be a current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) instructor. • Shall be a current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) instructor. • Shall demonstrate a working knowledge of the following Naval Instructions: OPNAVINST 5100.19 Series, Safety Precautions for Forces Afloat; OPNAVINST 3500.39 Series, Operational Risk Management • Shall be able to qualify as a "High Risk Instructor" per guidelines set forth in OPNAVINST 1500.75 Series, Policies and Procedures for Conducting High Risk Training.
