Now Hiring: Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendents

Job Type: Full-Time | Nationwide Travel Required

Blade Contracting is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to lead commercial construction projects for national brand clients across the U.S. This role is for professionals who can take full ownership of a job site, manage crews and subs, and deliver projects on time without hand-holding.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on commercial job sites
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, and site logistics
  • Ensure projects stay on schedule, within scope, and aligned with client expectations
  • Read and execute plans, specs, and project scopes accurately
  • Maintain strict safety standards and job site organization
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Travel nationwide for project assignments (often extended stays)

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Proven ability to run projects independently from start to finish
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Experience managing fast-paced remodels, tenant improvements, or rollouts
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and keep projects moving
  • Willingness to travel consistently and work flexible schedules
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred (Not Required):

  • Experience with retail, restaurant, or multi-site brand rollouts
  • OSHA certification
  • Ability to manage multiple projects or phased schedules
