The Manager of Strategic Analytics owns responsibility for identifying, scoping, and leading the execution of internal data analysis projects within Second Sight. This role reports to the Vice President of Strategy & Policy and the Chief Strategy Officer. The Manager of Strategic Analytics will support the organization by identifying areas of opportunity and/or risk, deriving strategic insights from data, and developing quantitative evidence to guide strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities:

  • Assess opportunities associated with new or expanded lines of business

  • Report regularly to company leadership on strategic insights derived from industry data

  • Train and manage junior data analysts

  • Build and/or consult on internal dashboards related to company platforms

  • Develop and monitor data quality metrics across platforms

  • Lead efforts to enhance the quality of data collected across platforms


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in a quantitative subject matter area (economics, mathematics, data science, etc.)

  • At least seven years of experience in business analytics

  • Experience working with healthcare-related or pharmaceutical datasets (claims data, pharmaceutical sales and chargeback data, etc.) is strongly preferred

  • Ability to clearly communicate analytical results to a non-technical audience

  • Experience distilling data trends using dashboards and PowerPoint slides

  • Proficiency in SQL and/or R, PowerPoint, Excel

  • Experience managing people


Candidate must be able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the United States, without company sponsorship.

Salary range: $180,000 - $220,000
