    • Position Summary
    • Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Student Leadership Engagement and Belonging.
    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after September 1, 2025 and ending on or before May 29, 2026. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.
    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to:
      • Design flyers, posters, social media graphics, newsletters, digital signage, and other promotional materials.
      • Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and Canva to create visually appealing content.
      • Assist in developing and scheduling content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
      • Maintain consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity standards.
      • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative marketing campaigns for events and programs.
      • Provide photography or videography support at events as needed.
      • Help manage analytics and engagement metrics for marketing efforts and suggest improvements.
      • Organize and archive digital assets and design files for easy access and reuse.
      • Assist with website content updates, event calendars, and email marketing efforts.
      • Support department with marketing and promotion of signature events.
      • Support with department tabling and outreach activities.
      • Other duties as assigned.
    • Qualifications
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • Demonstrates proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
      • Demonstrates experience using Canva to create digital and print marketing materials.
      • Familiarity with managing content for social media platforms.
      • Demonstrates strong visual design skills and a keen eye for layout, color, and typography.
      • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational abilities.
      • Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to take creative direction and feedback.
      • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
      • Demonstrates experience with video editing (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
      • Demonstrates basic understanding of branding, marketing strategy, and digital analytics.
      • Demonstrates experience with photography and/or photo editing.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

    • $16.90 per hour.
