As a Managed Services - Senior Data Engineer - Manager, you will leverage data and analytics to provide strategic insights and drive informed decision-making for clients. Within our Data & Analytics practice, you will develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize business performance and enhance competitive advantage. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. With your growing knowledge of how business works, you play an important role in identifying opportunities that contribute to the success of our Firm. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. You embrace technology and innovation to enhance your delivery and encourage others to do the same. In this role, you will analyze and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system, taking ownership of projects to validate their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
Responsibilities
- Leading data engineering projects to drive strategic insights and optimize business performance (ETL/ELT integration)
- Developing and implementing innovative data solutions using advanced analytics techniques (DataStage)
- Managing and mentoring teams to enhance their skills and deliver quality client services (pipeline architecture)
- Utilizing business intelligence tools and cloud-based analytics platforms to improve data-driven decision-making (AWS & Redshift)
- Building and maintaining data pipelines and architectures to support analytics initiatives (DB2, SQL Server)
- Collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for data utilization and process improvement (GoldenGate & CDC)
- Overseeing the deployment of scalable data visualization and reporting solutions (performance tuning)
- Promoting the adoption of new technologies and methodologies within data and analytics teams (S3, Glue)
- Addressing and resolving conflicts or issues with clients and team members, escalating when necessary
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 4 years of experience

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer and Information Science & Accounting, Economics, Economics and Finance, Economics and Finance & Technology, Operations Management/Research, Statistics, Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT)
- Utilizing Python and Java for data engineering tasks

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
